Hi There,
Our names are Darla and Alfalfa. Aren`t we just a Pretty Pair of Love Birds?

Actually, we`re just lucky to be alive `cause last year our original family gave us up to the shelter and our days were numbered. You`d think that our family would have wanted to keep us, but like so many birds that are bought like us, people get them and then find out they aren`t something they can just put in the corner and then feed and water like a plant. So they gave us up to the shelter and we were sooo scared in there! If fact Alfalfa got so nerved up that he started pickin` my feathers off me, with all them strange people around lookin` at us and keepin` us in a small cage didn`t help either. I tell ya, it just aint easy bein` a bird nowadays, no matter how pretty you are!

Thankfully, a nice Mickaboo lady came in and got us springed from there and since then we`ve been happy to be alive again! We`re in a nice big cage and we get all kinds of good food, thats good for us too! None of that all-seed diet for us. Alfalfa has calmed down and quit pickin` at me and we`re livin` the good life now. We get to come out of our cage now and do some flyin` which we just love doin! Me and Alfalfa love to be around people now and will sing up a storm for you.

All we want now is a nice Adopter Family to bring us home so we can have a nice Forever Home. We`re real glad that Mickaboo helps these Adopter Families learn how to take care of us too `cause we`re Exotic Birds that came from Africa so we need to be treated differently than a dog or a cat. If you`d like to see us just get ahold of that guy who is the coordinator for us by clickin` on that link thing above.

Thanks for listening to our story and we hope to see you one of these days. Darla and Alfalfa

Oh, some of you might want to know why were named as such but unfortunately we didn`t understand the people who was our first companions so we don`t know but we like our names just the same.
