Hi, I`m Monty (that was me on the front right). I was the best friend of Beale, for several years. We were devoted to each other, and I was his first Mickaboo friend. I was a little more wobbly on my feet, but I got better, and was able to climb and perch pretty well. Beale and I played and snuggled together, and slept together at night.

Our foster dad was the best ever. He taught us confidence building. We learned clicker training, going onto a ladder and feeling safe while he moved us from place to place. I used to climb up his leg and eat treats on his tummy. He fed us the best food ever! Chopped up vegetables, pellets, some fruit, and nuts and seeds as training treats.

We were about to be adopted to a wonderful home, with a sweet woman. And then . . . tragedy struck. I got sick a week before and I crossed over the rainbow bridge. As a disabled bird with a neurological illness that strikes some of my SF flock, I succumbed to some lingering problems from that.

I know my people and Beale miss me, but I had the best life a birdie could have, even being a little disabled. My life was perfect. I love you all. I want you to move on and be happy. Beale, I want you to find a new best friend. And, I`ll save a place here, over the Rainbow, for all of you.

Love, Monty
