Hi! I`m Coconut and I`m looking for a budgie buddy! I`m a little shy and cautious, but I`m starting to step-up for millet in my foster`s hand and meet my foster`s eyes. When I had a budgie buddy, I followed his lead. My favorite things here are having my fosters sing to me, my boing, fresh greens, and Nutri-An cakes not to mention MILLET. For now, I get my exercise by flying tiny laps in my cage and doing "spinnies" around the rungs on my ladder. Want to meet me? I really wanna meet YOU and join your flock!
In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
