Hi, my name is Odie. I am a gorgeous 8-year-old triton cockatoo. No plucking here! People think I`m a female because of my beautiful brown eyes. I am not trained and therefore I can be a bit of a handful. I have an attitude and I can be nippy and unpredictable. I`ll come out and sit on the door of my cage but I`m not ready to step up on a hand or a stick. I came from the shelter and now I am in a place with lots of other birds. I am very loud in this setting. It wouldn`t be a problem if I lived in the wild but it isn`t a good quality when you are living in a human home. I might do best in an outdoor aviary. Are you willing to work with me? I`m very young so the right person just might uncover a gem with lots of positive reinforcement and training. If you think you are that one special person who can open up your heart to me, please go to "how to adopt" on the website and fill out an application. I will be thankful.
