Hi, my name is Berry and I was surrendered to Mickaboo at the beginning of January 2022 with my friend, Blue.

I really enjoy my morning baths and just when my foster mom thinks I`m done, I go back for another dip. I will jump on my foster mom`s hand if she has a treat and let her give me little scritches too. Maybe you can tell from my picture that I`m eager to learn and interested in what`s going on around me.

I`m a good eater and enjoy background music. Anything from Classical to Rock n&bt; Roll works for me. I speak up and chat with my cousins when I hear Alexa play, "Forest Bird Sounds."

Blue and I make sure we help each other with our daily grooming. It`s always good to have a friend. Do you have a forever home for me and my friend, Blue?

In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
