For Independence Day week: A special Peanuts story arc from the beginning of July 1968 featuring the bird who would later be named Woodstock in a satire on politics:

While these carry reprint dates beginning with June 27, the Peanuts wiki says these ran from July 1 through 6 when originally published in 1968.  The series will continue through this weekend.

And the concluding installment of last year's "Summertime for Stupid" Diamond Lil story arc.  Maybe he should stick to flying into things face first.
